Hi! During my first year at Carleton University's Biomedical and Mechanical engineering program, I squeezed in a few projects.

Holiday Card
Late November of 2020, I painted this piece to be used as a holiday card for Northwaters and Langskib.
Having a project like this to work on during the hectic exam season really helped me balance a time which would have otherwise been completely school consumed.

Mainstreeter Box
My biggest project this year was painting a newspaper box for The Mainstreeter, Old Ottawa East's community newspaper.

I immediately knew that I wanted to pay homage to the Children's Garden, a community garden that holds a special place in my heart, and the heart of so many others in the community.
​

When I was wee, I loved photographing the bugs I found in the garden. This was the inspiration for the left side of the box.
​
The right side depicts the process of a child planting their first seeds in a garden.
The box is located outside of The Happy Goat coffee shop on Main St., right across from the Immaculata High School field.
